R6 stuck on creating squad.

Since yesterday I haven´t been able to play the game because I just can´t get to the menu. I open the game and it keeps "creating squad" (or something like that, my game is in portuguese so I don't know what the exact english message is).Open Steam and go to the game library. Go to Tom Clayncy’s Rainbow Six Siege properties and then the Updates tab. Set the Automatic Updates preference to High Priority. Relaunch Steam. Ever since the issues plaguing the servers yesterday I have been unable to even load into the game on PC via Steam. I get stuck in the creating squad loading phase after connecting to r6 servers. Anyone else rediscovered this old bug, or know of a way to fix it? Game was working just fine earlier until the servers went down, after trying to launch now it just gets stuck on the part where it says creating squad?
