Last weekend i was with a random galleon crew trying to lose a brig in a storm after clearing a skeleton fort. We heard a meg spawn without seeing it and just afterward we sailed close past an island so we could hopefully break line of sight from the brig.. looking backward I'm 100% sure i saw those white fins swimming away.
