For early to Mid-game, around 30 SPM is what you're looking for. For late game, you only need 1600 Purple and 1300 Yellow. Don't build to 30/45 SPM. That's a lot of time being spent building. For the end game, build rocket components as you do the final research. For early game, I'd watch some Speedrun videos.

There is some screenshots I just took of the completed base, tell me if you want to see anything specific. Pretty much the only other things that are not pictured is my steel setup, an extra green circuit setup I added late in the game and miners. I had 2 red belts of iron plates feeding my steel production.

My other advice is to buffer stuff. This is not recommended for normal play, since it hides bottlenecks. Just checked my old No Spoon save. I made the resource patches as large/frequent/rich as possible, and made the biters as easy as possible (they still have to be on though).
