Now, presupposing the bore on the 351M is in good shape and consistent, and the 351M pistons are the same, I would mic the bore and old pistons and compare 'em to the 400 pistons.The 400 is a Cleveland, the 351M was a 400 block with a 351W crankshaft, Ford used the 351W crankshaft in the 400 block because they had a shortage of 400 cranks.
