Aug 14, 2022 · 43x mos return to battery failures. My 43x is having problems. Many shots slide feels sluggish and slow. Several times it didn't ho into battery. This is with oem mags and 124 grain ammo. I don't remember when this gin was new and running irons. Have a 507k on it now. Of course it's an mos model and should run regardless. That beefier spring on the OEM SSL (Part # 47877 lever marked "47876" or Part # 33731 lever marked "33730-1" in case of the G43) will work much better. After about 400 rounds into shooting it, it would start to do exactly what you describe. Pull trigger, boom, slide cycles, ejects old case, feeds new case and chambers it.
