The Ruger Security 9 is my first "Hammer Style" semi auto pistol. With the advertised "95% cocked hammer" it has me second guessing carrying loaded without the safety engaged. 13 years of daily carry, and you haven't shot yourself yet is a pretty good track record. Took the bolt out of the receiver and polished all surfaces on it that touch any other metal during cycling. Second range trip was better but stove pipes still happened.
