I've been considering picking up a WASR and I am curious of the differences between these two. Specifically, what I've been reading is that the 10/63 is built off parts kits and the WASR 10 is a new manufacturered rifle. The furniture seems to be more "blonde" on the new versions. Is this correct?

I use a steel surplus mag as a templet as I file the tight areas. Poly mags do fit tight, do not use as a templet!
