My 09 Chevy traverse exhibits intermittent issues with power steering not working at slow speeds. I hear a humming/whining noise when I try to turn in to parking spot and the wheel will not turn without me wrestling it. It is very intermittent, some times it works and other times it does not. The issue is that when you disconnect the ground- the circuit attempts to find a new ground. In the process it can fry your ECM/PCM. This part can get very expensive. This is the easiest way to see if your problem follows the coil to the other cylinder. You should be throwing CEL codes that show what cylinders are misfiring.2016 Traverse Issues Starting.
