I have owned a gen3 30sf and the 30s at the same time. I sold off the 30sf and still have an carry the 30s. I can't tell much difference if really any in recoil or accuracy. I haven't had any type of issues at all with mine. Its much lighter than the sf model with the slimmer slide. I have owned the G30 the longest, just picked up the G29 (have only put 67 rounds through it). I shoot both okay and enjoy them. Both lose velocity because of the 3.77 barrel so keep your rounds on target.
