Notice the headlamps are powered by their own stator winding and only work with the engine running. Posted April 26, 2015. One of the stator leads should have a diode after it comes out of the tinwork and usually right before a connector that mates with the tractor harness. Wire with diode goes to the battery. Wire without the diode goes to the light circuit only. Garry.
