The 6.5/257Roberts is the ballistic twin to the 6.5X57. Much the same way the 30/338 is to the 308 norma. Interstingly, I have a barrel from a Winchester featherwieght, that was rechambered to the Ackley version. I often thought of possibly of boring and rifling it to a 6.5mm,hence a 6.5X257 Roberts Ackley Improved.
