I almost bought the Colt Defender, but went with the Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry instead. The Kimber was just more appealing to me. I wouldn't put the Defender and the Raptor in the same class. The Raptor is much more refined and seems to be put together better, IMO. The Defender and the Ultra Carry are neck and neck.25 oz.
