The very distinct click comes from improper molding and design of a holster that is loose and sloppy overall and then very sharp around the trigger guard. The Tenicor isn't custom so it ships quickly but you don't get color or other random choices. The company has a bunch of videos on youtube that show they've put a lot of thought into the design. Unlike some makers, they only make holsters for a few guns so you're not getting a standard design remolded to your particular gun.
