It was my favorite 1-1/4oz powder for my duck and goose loads when you could use lead shot. In the 20ga I use it for both 7/8oz and 1oz loads. In the AACF I use 16.5gr for both the 7/8 and 1oz loads and in the Rem STS hulls I use 17.5gr for both loads. In the 7/8oz loads I use the Rem RXP 20 wad and in the 1oz loads I use the Rem SP20 wad.

I'm new to the 20ga myself. I have been using both the Remington and Winchester hulls, wads and primers with Hodgdon International Clays. I have a MEC 600JR press. It seems to like the combination of AA hull and the WAA20 wad. The crimps are perfect and the AA hull seems to last a long time. I do plan to try the Federal Gold Medal some day.

They appear to be identical to RXP 20 wads except they have a rib running up the inside of each petal. Other than the rib, the two wads seem to have identical dimensions.
