I don't know much about the lost cities, but I do know that: a. most flying things will see you even when invisible. b. the parasites can't break obsidian, so make a room with about 3 blocks thick walls of obsidian.I'm not sure if it's just my PC specs but the rest of the pack runs smoothly besides an occasional hiccup. But after being in the Lost Cities a few minutes my game becomes nearly unplayable. In the lost cities config try changing the spawn cap. Default is 70 and I've heard people having a much easier time running at 40 or sometimes less.

About 2 months (ish) ago, I had went into the Lost Cities dimension for the first time in a survival world. I was very well geared up, so the fights weren't a problem.
