I really like the motion activated (MOTAC) feature on this optic and think it's a good value ($119 at PSA this weekend). The Romeo 5XDR GEN II is the newer body style with the AAA battery (unlike the one on the webpage). It looks a lot like the Vortex Sparc AR, which I really like. The 5x magnifier is clear and compact in size, but does have a small eye box. I've been bugging sig on IG all the time about the 320 w/ Romeo optics. The closest I've gotten to a real answer is - we are working hard with both the optics team and the handgun team to bring exiting new platforms to market. lol. The initial price of the romeo equipped 320 on the cabelas listing was promising to say the least.

If you're finding the XDR for $30 more than the regular Romeo 5 you're either getting a really good deal on the XDR or a really bad deal on the regular one because it's normally about $100 more. A brief search and I found the Romeo 5 for $169 and the XDR for $279. I think the XDR takes regular AA batteries too.
