Hello, I've been curious how many of you use the weapon multi-hit option in game? I have considered turning it on but when i did in the past it seemed like overkill, Movies and shows I've watched have had multiple zombies hit with certain weapons (machetes, Katana, Etc). But i want to here everyone else's thoughts on the changeable setting!Multi hit is too boring. Combat is all about spacing and timing, and finding the right rythm for these two things. Also, even a few zombies mean quite the threat for a long while untill you level up a weapon skill. With multi hit on, the game turns into a hack and slash borefest, where even larger groups are easy to deal with from the get go.The Mayan people used weapons and tools made of sharpened stone and wood, such as farming equipment, hand chisels and bladed weapons. They did not typically use metal tools or weap...I like multi-hit because it encourages you to try standing your ground more and not always relying on kiting every zombie you see allowing a different experience. That is why I'm running it. Multi-hit simply makes it so nearly every single melee weapon can hit up to 3 zeds at the same time. Basically every melee weapon except small knives or pens/forks and such. I believe cleavers are the exception among those. So with a few settings changed to make it more difficult and turning multi-hit off, I’ve been making survival harder, as well as combat with zombies more of a tactical consideration. I’ve set my loot settings to have all your odds and ends be common, but consumables like weapons, ammo, food, meds are all harder to come by.

i would only put multi hit in some weapons, like a crowbar, baseball bat, long weapons in general. Is stupid to hit 2 or 3 zombies with a little hammer.
